Ahmed Saeed is a Managing Director at
Nomura International. He was a White House Fellow assigned to the United States Secretary of the Treasury and was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Middle East and Africa for the US Treasury from 2004 to 2005. He was President and MD, Cerberus Middle East Capital Advisors, responsible for Middle East investment/fundraising activities, Cerberus Capital Management. Prior to his tenure at the Treasury department, he was the Managing Director of the third largest ISP in the United Kingdom, and Founder and President of one of Japan's largest internet service providers. Saeed is a founder of NextCom Venture Partners, a venture capital fund. He received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from McGill University; and his Juris Doctor Degree and MBA from the University of Chicago.
