Smell of The Country

Smell of The Country
Directed by: Ahmed Hamed

Genre: documentary

The sound , the image......the smell , wonder what is the smell of the country? How often do we remember to take in the smells that surround us? Beyond the car exhaust, is a sweet potato cart, a 3attar, a man selling full. Through this Short documentary, visually following the path of distinct, and blended smells in the streets of Cairo. The ones that stand out, and the more subtle ones we tend to ignore. The smell of the country is my first film, as loving my city is one of the reasons I make films.
